finally! a new finished data track from stAllio! this might even be the mythical "fourth track" that will let me finish up that 12" i've been talking about for, oh, the past year or two....
noiseman433 has posted a nice summary on imn of sumthin' fierce, including a few pictures, like this beauty:

wow what a show! unszene started things off right with some raucus noise, humdrum took over with some vicious beats, i played some abstract noise for about an hour, failure to thrive rocked the house, the button tranced us out (their first time ever in indiana; i hope dg picked up a baggie of dirt), bobby vomit/TEC/noiseman433 did a seamless set of great noise, dj intuit spun some rave breaks, & then drbmd capped it all off with a finale so spectacular that i can't put it in print. you had to be there (& you probably weren't). thanks to all our performers, our wonderful moderate sized crowd, & especially ck1 for putting it all together & finding such a great venue.

the latest, up-to-datest flier:

here's text-only show spam for easy posting onto mailing lists & shiz... note the official addition of dj intuit to the lineup. & if you're wondering who failure to thrive is (i know i was wondering), no, they're not emo... in fact you might know them better as backstatic featuring ankill snipah or maybe masochistic ear minus drbmd...

mp3.com has announced that the site will basically shut down on dec 2 or so, & all the zillions of mp3s hosted there will be deleted. deleting all that content is in many ways a crime against art, but it would've been a much bigger tragedy if this had happened a few years back when anyone gave a fuck...
so if you're looking for the 3 mp3s of mine still hosted there, you'd better get 'em soon.
& where else will we get wonderful content like this "bad radio" station, where the station owner challenges you to email him if you can make it all the way through my live version of "lavatory safety tip". (it hardly seems a coincidence that there are no other noise artists on the station... let this be a lesson to you: if you don't like or understand something, it must be crap)

i'm still trying to find whatever source out there is giving us so much traffic for pirates of the internet... for a minute i thought i'd found it but no, after thinking about it, i haven't just yet... or at least not the original source.
what i did find, though, was a link to california uber arnold on indymedia, of all places. i guess someone (presumably in san francisco) uploaded a copy of the track to the indymedia server, so i can only imagine how many copies of "urber_arnold.mp3" are out there.
stAllio! subsite revamp underway, beginning with the new stAllio! "personal" blog, for no other reason than because some people seem to enjoy reading my blather.
yes, i got rid of the old "handshake" intro page because just directing people here is far more useful... all the links from that page should appear above, & this way you get all the latestest updates & shiz. (okay, if you really desperately need to see that page again, it is still online here, you freak)
in other news i (stAllio!, read the byline) will be in the san francisco bay area dec 12-17, & while i'm out there i just might do an interview on a certain massively cool freeform community-based radio station out there... more data tba. while i'm not looking too hard for other bookings while i'm out there, if you know of something cool then i am very willing to listen. jot me a note
