i got some mixed reviews for the previous backgrounds, so i've replaced them with some newer ones. i'll probably change them every couple months.

The other ones were colorful and creative, even if rather flamboyant. Still, you created them with your own distinctive methods.
Please give us at least the option of using one of the old ones. The current group is way too pedestrian!!! ¶

that's not exactly what you said two months ago when i rolled out the glitch backgrounds. in fact, you didn't like those at first, either.
it would be easy to allow users to select the old backgrounds, but i also kind of like the idea of the blog simply changing appearance every few months. i'll have to think about it. ¶
